Session Description
Mindset development for kids is all about empowering kids by helping them understand how their mind works! In all our sessions, kids learn how to use the power of their mind and the power of their thoughts to create happiness, confidence, and success in their lives, so that they can take their life, goals, and dreams wherever they want to go. Stories are used to teach mind-set skills in a way that kids understand them. In the stories, kids hear about and learn through the experiences of characters: consequences of choices made, how to move through fear, trying new things or how being patient pays! Each session consists of storytelling, focused discussion, and fun activities and games to make learning exciting!In these sessions, our groups have the chance to connect with one another, share their own experiences and, build bonds, and support each other, in a safe and inviting environment. Class 1: Introduction and How your mind shapes your world Class 2: How to shape your mind Class 3: You can control your mind! Class 4: The power of self-responsibility (making wise choices) Class 5: Learning through a growth mindset Class 6: Managing and overcoming mistakes Class 7: Choosing respect Class 8: I love me! (Self-esteem) Sessions are 75 minutes in length, and are conducted once a week. Programs are 8 weeks in duration. Spots fill up quickly as we take a maximum of 6 students per group. Cancellation Policy
Refunds can be obtained up to 2 weeks prior to the start of the first day of class. A $25 admin fee will be charged for cancellations. No refunds will be issued if cancellation occurs after this time.
